angry little chipmunk
I thought to put water to boil for tea when I saw my pick-me-upper of the day. I was musing about the planks of wood piled out back that we will cut up for fireplace firewood when out came an angry chipmunk chasing a gray squirrel probably three times its size for daring to cross his turf.
He was ferocious too! And the funny thing was, the squirrel looked frightened enough for a second before bolting away with the tiny chipmunk chasing him. LOL. Big squirrel away, tiny chippy went back to patrol his piece of “paradise” under the pine trees.
I wished I was quick enough to grab my cam but this is how he looked like, almost. I wonder what he’s guarding under those decking planks.
