House-isms
House has been inching its way past 245 on my list of absolute top fave TV Show. You either have to love or totally detest Dr. Gregory House. Hugh Laurie is the perfect crusty, atheist, soulless, vicodin-addict out-of-this-world brilliant doctor with the most unconventional approach to treating patients.
I hate Fox for its tabloid-like news but I like their shows. Was checking out Fox’s House web site and found today’s post, House-isms. Hugh Laurie’s one-liners always make me laugh. Read some of them:
“Okay, fine. I’ll father your child. But first you gotta write me a Vicodin prescription. Just so I can get through the foreplay.”
“Sorry. I already met this month’s quota of useless tests for stubborn idiots.”
Foreman: “I had a date last night. She screamed too. You think we should spend a hundred thousand dollars testing her?”
House: “Of course not. This isn’t a veterinary hospital. Zing!”Cameron: “You’re lucky he didn’t die.”
House: “I’m lucky? He’s the one who didn’t die.”
