Fish and Chips!

I’ve never been a big fan of fish. I only eat fried tilapia, fried bangus or grilled tuna. But living on the Cape, I’m learning to like more kinds of fish and seafoods. So I guess my palette is expanding.

The big R came home the other day with Fish and Chips, fresh cooked from Townsend Lobster over at the Fisherman’s Wharf in Provincetown and boy was it yummy! I think it was cod, but whatever fish it was, it’s fresh and the batter is just right [no fishy taste or smell either!]. The fries are amazing. Normally, french fries, even those bought from swanky restaurants, taste a little like sawdust and looks pitiful once it’s been left out and reheated. But these fries are still tasty 2 hours later, and twice reheated. They must be using some real good stuff in there.

It just sucks that I can’t eat raw oysters because it’s summer and most Restaurants up in Ptown have raw oyster bars like the Townsend Lobster and the Euro Island Grill. Mmm mmm mmm mmm!
