Fall in Raleigh - Free Raleigh, NC Getaway

Normally, when I think of fall, it’s Fall in New England because, admit it, we do have some of the best colours of fall. Try flying over Vermont and Maine during the fall months and you’d be greeted by a spectacular view of vibrant bursting reds, oranges and golden brown. Try driving through the Kanc [Kancamagus Highway] in New Hampshire, this thickly treed mountainous gap where lush green trees turn into lovely autum colors.

But there is another place worth checking out this Fall. Raleigh, North Carolina. Lately, I’ve been hearing a lot about Raleigh. It seems this charming Southern city is getting quite an economic boost, from tourism and jobs alike.

Great city entertainment bundled with small town Southern charm makes Raleigh unique. The arts is alive and kicking with shows like NC Shakespeare Festival, Man of La Mancha, Marriage of Figaro and Mama Mia. When Provincetown madness is winding down, Raleigh is just about to start with the North Carolina State Fair, the Grecian Festival and the Bug Fest.

Agressive tourism campaign is underway, which is GOOD, and invites visitors to register for a FREE Raleigh Getaway. This free getaway includes:

-One night accommodations for two at the Courtyard by Marriott Raleigh Crabtree Valley
-$25 gift certificate to Bloomsbury Bistro
-Free VIP admission for two to Rum Runners
-2 tickets to the North Carolina Theatre
-2 tickets to the N.C. Museum of Art’s Landscapes from the Age of Impressionism
-2 tickets to Dinosaurs: Ancient Fossils, New Discoveries at the N.C. Museum of Natural Sciences

Sweeeet.

You can find a lot of information and exciting from visitraleigh.com, they also have specialized weekend Fall Getaway planners like the one designed for “girlfriends”, which includes shopping [of course], spa, comedy acts and dining.
