Spread for Butter
Can you use those “It tastes like butter” spreads to bake a cake and a batch of macaroons? I asked Rob to get me butter yesterday when he went out to get more diapers and he was soo proud to come home with a huge tub of I can’t Believe It’s not Butter spread because they’re on sale for a third of the price. Umm, it’s mostly vegetable oil Rob .. so? it looks like butter, it tastes a little like butter [but we both like Lee Iacocca's Olivio], ergo, must be the same as butter, what am I fussing about …
Sigh. Men. Well, it IS going to be his macaroon treat so we’d see how this “butter” will hold up. We’re about to find out.
