Piano Lessons Anyone?
Shifting gear from the exasperating news on TV [political circus and Britney that is] I’m trying to go zen.
When we were young, my parents tried very hard to enroll us in piano lessons. But of us five kids, none of the girls ever learned and only my brother seemed to be musically inclined so he got the lessons and even gave recitals well into High School.
Blame it on the piano teacher, the old coot. He smelt of stale tobacco, would trick us by looking like he’s always ready to fall over and die [or fall asleep] only to rap our fingers if we hit the wrong note. I still can only play with one hand and finish “The Onion March”.
I wish I’m one of those people who listens to music and can replicate them playing the piano. Hope is not lost, this web site offers Piano lessons & piano chords for free. Hooray! Or it provides an email newsletter with piano lessons and chords for those willing to dust the baby grand and tune it again.
