Who Murdered English?

Filipinos are a creative bunch if nothing else. We have to be to survive. Came across this website, http://whomurderedenglish.com/ devoted to how people have mercilessly mangled the English language, I thought it funny that to be engaging, the site is treating the trashing of English as a crime scene - “Mutilated grammar and missing letters never found. Crimes committed here were sentenced to the correction fluid on several counts“.

The web site is a good source of information on how to establish a community watch - “Listen. Intervene. Criticize. The killer may just be in your midst” and even a witness protection program - “… There are many ways to protect oneself from being the next victim or … victimizer“.

Ironically, the web site was sponsored by the American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines. They should promote this to Americans too - white, black, brown, yellow, red, white & blue - you never know, anyone who murdered English might just be sitting next to you.
