Upset! Giants Beat Patriots
Good thing this year’s Superbowl proved to be a cliffhanger because the commercials were just plain lousy.
Nobody outside the US would probably be interested in this bit of news, since football as the Americans play it, well, let’s say it’s quite different than football as the rest of the world knows it.
Everyone’s predicting a New England Patriots win, the camel, the nun and the pundits all summarized it as a glowing ending to a perfect season for Giselle Bundchen’s sweetie patootie Tom Brady and his teammates. That’s why they call it an upset.
Gee, the pundits are really having a hard time predicting anything but the recession these days. They were wrong in politics [New Hampshire] and wrong on the Superbowl too. Interestingly, New England gave them a hard time twice over with their predictions.
