It’s getting to be that time of the year again when people emerge from their cocoons to smell Spring. Guess who’s coming to Provincetown this Spring?!
Collin Farrel no less! Colin will be best man to his younger brother Eammon when he marries his long time partner Steve in Ptown this Spring. His son will be ring bearer. I wonder where they’re holding the ceremony. There’s only so many churches and venues here after all. Or will they have it at the Pilgrims’ landing site? Oh! Oh! that’s just around the corner. LOL celeb watcher.
Anyway, I came across this Contemporary Wedding Invitations and liked the idea that it is fully customizable.
Hmmmnnn, I wonder if it includes customizing it to the needs of same sex partners getting married? While I’m not one, living in Provincetown certainly opened my eyes [a lot more than I hoped for sometimes!] and it would be great to have more companies catering to same sex couples wanting to get married [oh dear! did my Catholic church just heard that?! I'm doomed].
I really liked this one, with the wedding couple and calla lilies on Bright White Stock Card and traditional vellum paper. The paper type nor the pearl imprint can’t be changed. So what CAN be changed?!
You can select from a variety of verses and quotes, change the font and font color as well as add personal info. For this type of invite, it costs about $118++ per 100 pieces.
It would be great for same sex couples to order their invites and party favors online because it ain’t cheap over here!

I was very excited about the time change until I got up to go to work this morning and it was SO dark. I just wanted to crawl back into bed and stay there.
