Cape Cod On Foot - NOT
My sister’s in town to visit and see crustini for the first time. I was extra ecstatic since she can drive [and I don't know how] and we’ll be able to do day trips up and down Cape Cod and Maine.
Burst my bubble would you. I said, hey, why don’t we rent a car on the next really sunny day and go up to Hyannis? And she was like, um, yeah, just that I forgot my license. Great. I hate to say it, but that rocking horse at the playground ain’t going to bring us far sis.
When in Cape Cod in the summer, it’s better to ditch your own car and ride the shuttle in each town. And if you’re planning a day trip to out of the way beaches and scenic routes, it’s better to rent a car for the day or the weekend, it’s cheaper that way. You won’t believe how much they’re renting parking space around here, you’d think you’re renting a three-bedroom ocean view apartment for the price of one-car parking space.
