Maria Blogs

In the course of almost two years, I’ve watched this blog grow, reached a plateau, declined and slowly climb out of hibernation again … I’ve been rank-slapped (OUCH!!!!) and never quite regained my google-rank grace.

It’s only a subdomain, my first attempt at dabbling with Wordpress after launching Kalesa in Joomla, the first Wordpress theme I edited myself and made my own … and the last of my blogs to ever receive a WP upgrade. (oh gee, should I have said that?! edit: Wait, I’ve upgraded! I’ve upgraded! BEH!)

From writing about my “adventures”… being censored (hey, SOME clients can be VERY spiteful) … having to compromise … writing about seemingly disjointed entries … trying to reclaim my inner biatch and of course coooing about my baby (cuteness!) … this blog have gone some ways and been held back in other ways.

I think it’s time togive Maria Finds a facelift (we’re not getting any younger!) … some categories will disappear (adopted by more relevant blog/s) and in here I’ll most likely be talking more about blogging resources (really, just stuff I see off/online), the things I (still) find in my backyard and the many (postie) everyday adventures I’m sure we’ll continue to have. Oh and yes, the bitching hour stays. Bah!

The one thing I am having a hard time moving on from is my “girl” and my “piggly” so the template will probably stay around or some time.
