google-god says, let there be a new browser … and voila, chrome is born …
Google just launched their new browser – “CHROME”. it’s currently in Beta and I must say, it’s looking interesting. I just downloaded it fifteen minutes ago and the verdict is still out. But it’s supposed to be fast and it’s looking clean. After installation, Chrome proceeded to import my Firefox settings and passwords. It’s sea-blue and bright white colors are “happy joy joy” kinda colors, and with only the bookmarks and address bar displaying on top it sure is clean and gives much more space for browsing. BUT.What if I’m used to having my status bar at the bottom (personal preference) or a ready search box … not to mention other toolbars, such as Yahoo, Entrecard .. and, well, google?
I haven’t figured out where to add those things (the option field does not give a clue as to how to do that).PLUS. And this is potentially a pain-in-the-bleep kind of moment – my Maria web site (THIS!) is not loading correctly on chrome.WAAAAAAAAAAH. Great. Just when I said my template is staying for some time.Anyway, if you want to beta test this new browser, just head off to Google and download it from there.
edit: this post is created while logged on a Chrome browser and as you can see, the layout and formatting has been screwed – all the paragraph breaks and image positionin were scrapped. Much as my hands are itching to edit and make it right, I’m leaving it to let you see my WP blogging experience so far while using Chrome.p.s. the edit part was done while logged in Firefox. I may be a masochist but I have my limits. BAH!
