The $700 Billion bailout bill has been rejected in the US Congress. Oooooooh, why? ‘Cos some Republican was put off by Nancy Pelosi’s remarks. Gee. go pick your ball and go home why don’t you. Oh wait, yeah, like little brats at the playground, they need to strut and position themselves as if they’re tough, all for the cheering and jeering bystanders eh.

caching …. stock market points fall. you think it’s only playing out in the US playground? think again.

the naysayers say hey, the american people say a big fat no to a wall st. bailout so we vote no. and here i was thinking, when i vote a person to an elected office I would have expected him not only to exercise the will of the people but to be wise and decisive.

it’s election year. brain out the window. oooops.

why not, instead of fear mongering or playing it safe, WHY NOT EXPLAIN TO YOUR CONSTITUENTS EXACTLY WHY there is a bailout going on and why there is a need for more funds to be authorized for release instead of playing dumb and washing your hands of responsibility. hey it’s the will of the people. CRAP.

why do you think governments, and not just the US government mind you, are bailing out financial institutions? You think they just want to? where do you think your hard earned money that goes into social security, 401K, bank deposits, mortgages, debts go to? you think they just sit in a sack buried in mud ready for when you want to harvest it?

It’s being invested in financial institutions so they grow and you pick more apples when you only really planted one seed.

let the banks fail. let the greedy mortgage lenders go down. burn rome!

sure, why not. why don’t you gather all your cash, card and checks and start burning them too? pronto. you think you’re in recession right now? let freddie mac and fannie may collapse, oh wait, let AIG, which probably (indirectly) holds your insurance policy sink.

i don’t want to hear any whining from people who wants everything and does not want to do anything. oh yeah, you want to hear flowery promises from candidates, you want excellent oratory .. in short, you want to be treated like morons who cannot understand that your children’s future are being burned right before your eyes but you can’t see it because you have blinders on. no, you open your big mouth at the mention of money going into somebody else’s pocket rather than directly to yours. you liked the idea of a big tax refund but you complain when the government don’t have any money left.

dumb people don’t want too much government. but they whine and protest that the government has not done enough.

heaven help dumb people. may they have shares in institutions that would go under. may they have bank deposits in banks that the fdic won’t bail out because money simply dries out. may they have their retirement money invested in the very companies they don’t want congress to protect.

oooooh i’m in that kind of mood you bet!
