I first tasted Stouffers when I was preparing for my son’s christening party. The snacks I had to prepared should be quick and easy. While a little skeptical about serving TV dinner to guests, I took the chance after watching an episode on Food Network.

For this particular dish, I picked up a couple of boxes of Stouffers creamy spinach and about 4 boxes of fillo doudh mini cups. Using a teaspoon, fill each cup to brim and top with shredded cheddar cheese or parmesan, line them up on a cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Voila, hor’ deuvres in a jiffy. My guests were none the wiser that everything came from the frozen section of Stop and Shop =)

Since then I’ve been buying Stouffers to extend our meals and sometimes as a meal in itself. It’s good stuff, TV dinners have come some ways.

The latest I’ve tasted is Lean Cuisine Panini Chicken with mushroom and spinach (Lean Cuisine is also a part of Stouffers) and it’s yum.
