… and so the 2010 World Cup in South Africa comes to an end. When two elegant teams – Spain and the Netherlands – played rough and dirty to get to where they want to be, holding the coveted World Cup trophy.
Germany prevailed over Uruguay for a third place repeat of their 2006 WC finals win. Spain managed to get a shot past the Netherlands and a place in World Cup history, this being their first trip to the finals and their first win.
Waka Waka. This time for Africa.
Shakira rocked in Johannesburg as she closes the 2010 World Cup ceremony with Waka Waka (It’s Time for Africa) – the official 2010 FIFA World Cup Song.
